Who is Frankie?

Frankie is a two year old Daschund with an ever so loving owner, Ryan. Frankie is a incredibly smart dog who loves to play with her favourite toy, Beaver, and loves to sleep under blankets.

Why the long face?

The idea came to fruition in the Spring of 2011 after playing with Frankie. Frankie stopped and looked at me with a look on her face, I said "Why the long face, Frankie?" and suddenly I had an idea. After looking around for pictures of Frankie that would be perfect for this artwork, I was set and ready to go. I've designed Frankie in Illustrator, then later exported it to InDesign. I had it printed on a 24" x 36" poster and framed. I gave it to my brother, Ryan, for Christmas. He was pleasantly surprised.
